Hip Healing with Stem Cell Therapy and PRP

We help patients overcome hip pain naturally. If you’re dealing with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid, sports injuries, or bone on bone hip, you may be an excellent candidate Stem Cell Therapy and PRP— regenerative treatments that use your body’s own healing abilities to repair joints without surgery.  Daniel Meinke FNP provides these innovative therapies under ultrasound guidance to restore mobility, reduce pain, and help you return to an active life.

How Stem Cells and PRP Heal Hips

Stem cells, collected from your bone marrow or fat tissue, help repair and rebuild damaged structures by transforming into the tissue types your hip needs most.

PRP therapy concentrates platelets and growth factors from your blood, accelerating tissue healing in tendons, ligaments, and muscles around the hip.

Regenerative Benefits include:

  • Improved mobility and flexibility
  • Faster return to daily activities and exercise
  • Reduced risk of falls and further hip damage
  • Strengthening of hip structures at the source, not just masking pain

Note: Large hip damage is best treated with Stem Cell Therapy or A2M Enhanced PRP (Alpha-2 Macroglobulin PRP), which specifically targets cartilage breakdown and the proteins involved in arthritis.

Before Stem Cell and PRP Treatment

Before recommending regenerative therapy Daniel evaluates your hip condition. If traditional treatments like physical therapy, medications, or steroid injections haven’t provided relief, PRP or stem cell therapy may be your next step.  A physical exam, the patient's hip pain, and often a X-Ray will indicate the best therapy.

What to Expect

After preparing your PRP or Stem Cell from a small sample taken in office,  the cells are injected by ultrasound guidance in the hip joint and other involved tissues for the specific patient.

Some patients have mild soreness, though most patients return to activity quickly with little to no downtime.

How Many Stem Cell or PRP Treatments Are Needed?

Many patients experience significant improvement after one session of Stem Cell Therapy or A2M PRP, where a booster treatment of regular PRP is often used to ensure long term functioning.  If PRP (without A2M is used) most hip patients will have 2 to 4 treatments.

Our end goal is to heal the hip — offering real, lasting relief.

How Long Does Stem Cell and PRP Take to Heal My Hip?

PRP and stem cell therapy work gradually in the initial weeks and months.  Slower healing occurs across 2 to 12 months for Stem Cells and 2 to 8 months for A2M PRP.  PRP
